Venice

Venice floats on the blue of the lagoon like a little boat: ochre houses, a church under a terracotta roof and a slim bell tower, in loose strokes of sky blue, sand and brick red.

A Venetian landscape, or rather, Venice itself, floating in the blue of the lagoon and sky, like a little boat.. There is no actual boat, no gondola, no vaporetto, no watercraft at all. Venice itself floats and floats on the waters of the lagoon with its crooked little houses, church, bell tower.
