White Lilies in the Dark

A white lily and a pale pink one lean out of a dark glass with a pale blue rim, their yellow centers bright against an almost black, nocturnal ground that warms to dark brown on the right, all painted on a small wooden cutting board with a handle.

A bouquet of lilies in a glass, painted on a small cutting board. One of the series «Flowers on wood», where a flower or a small bouquet of flowers is a protagonist of the picture. White flowers in the dark. The minimalist style because there are few details on the dark, nocturnal background. Original wood cutting board.

DECORATIVE BOARDS (author's warning):

My works from the "Boards" series are small oil paintings on wood, mostly still life. The boards are varnished, however these are paintings, they are not intended for cutting food in the kitchen. Place them on the wall, not on the table. Best of all, given their size, on the wall of a small room. On the same kitchen wall, for example.
