In the Garden

A quiet moment beneath the trees: a seated figure, a blue vase of yellow and pink flowers, and a table painted in warm terracotta washes. Soft grey-green foliage frames the scene, while areas of untouched paper suggest sunlight filtering through the garden.

Loose brushwork and transparent layers of watercolor give this intimate composition an airy, spontaneous character. The bright flowers and reddish hair provide small accents of colour against the subdued surroundings.

The small format suits a reading corner, bedroom, or a collection of artworks arranged above a console.

Framing is available upon request.
